In November 2021, Share the Light of Islam embarked on a heartwarming charity initiative in the serene village of Mamboi, nestled within the Port-Loko District. This endeavor was dedicated to supporting the local Islamic School and the wonderful people of the village. Through our collective efforts and the kindness of our supporters, we were able to bring joy and essential resources to this vibrant community.

The primary aim of our visit was to extend a helping hand to the students of the Islamic School. We were overjoyed to present them with an array of educational supplies, including dozens of books, stationery, and other essential school materials. Witnessing the eagerness and enthusiasm of the students to delve into their new educational resources was truly heartening.

In addition to supporting the school, we also had the privilege of spreading smiles by providing the people of Mamboi with an assortment of clothing and shoes for individuals of all ages and genders. The delight and gratitude expressed by the villagers were immensely humbling and served as a poignant reminder of the impact that generosity and compassion can have on communities.

We were fortunate to capture these moments of generosity and joy through a series of photographs, immortalizing the collective efforts and the profound impact on the lives of those we were able to assist.

This project in Mamboi Village stands as a testament to the power of unity and support within our charitable endeavors. We are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have made a positive difference in the lives of the schoolchildren and villagers, thanks to the support of our donors and volunteers.
